Using a Tea Light Candle (Gentle Heat Method)
- Insert a tea light candle into the lower compartment of the burner.
- Light the candle.
- Place 3 to 5 small pieces of oud on the mesh lid above, depending on how strong and consistent you’d like the fragrance to be.
- The more oud you use, the richer and more continuous the aroma will be. We recommend starting with 3 to 5 pieces for an optimal scent experience.
- With the candle at a lower distance, the gentle heat slowly warms the oud, releasing a long-lasting fragrance with minimal smoke.
Using a acryclic stand with tea light candle (Intense Release)
- Insert the acrylic stand then tea light candle into the lower compartment of the burner.
- Light the candle.
- Place 2 to 3 small pieces of oud on the mesh lid above, depending on how strong and consistent you’d like the fragrance to be.
- The more oud you use, the richer and more continuous the aroma will be. We recommend starting with 2 to 3 pieces for an optimal scent experience.
- By raising the candle closer to the oud, the increased heat produces a more intense burn, releasing a richer and stronger aroma.
Using Charcoal (Traditional Method)
- Place a charcoal disc in the centre of the burner.
- Carefully light the disc and allow it to heat for 8-10 minutes, until it turns grey and glows red-hot.
- Using UDSI Tongs, gently place a small piece of oud (1–2 pieces) directly onto the charcoal.
- Let the rich aroma fill your space.
- For optimal fragrance without overburning, remove the oud after 2–3 minutes.
